What is communication consulting?
I conduct communication audits to see how companies/nonprofits/organizations are currently communicating, then I work with my clients to help them find their voice and use it effectively!
Often times, this means creating a basic branding concept for my clients and giving them specific ideas of how to create the content their ideal market wants.
I have a Master’s Degree in Communication, and I use my background in research, marketing, and branding to help companies and organizations create the communication that they need to reach their target market.
I craft personalized communication plans to help organizations know what to share, when to share it, and how to do it all with as little time as possible spent away from their mission. This often includes creating and implementing target market surveys and learning how to best serve my clients’ audiences. I know that this process is overwhelming for most people and that many organizations don’t have a lot of time to commit to this process. I work to give them the biggest impact with a minimal time investment.
Traditional marketing and personal social media both take a lot of time, and organizations are often unsure how to enter the world of marketing or how to use social media for business promotion.
During this process, I create easy-to-implement plans for these organizations and outline how to get the biggest return for their investment of time and money.
I’ve worked with businesses as small as one owner/employee, brick and mortar stores, large events run by non-profit organizations, labor organizations, and online marketplaces! I love the variety of businesses and helping all these different clients meet their goals. 🙂
